With the expansion of my client's Midlands business, including the relocation of their offices to a more central regional location, my client has identified an opportunity to augment the current team with the appointment of a Senior Consultant/Director designate specialising in the field of Planning & Delay Analysis. The position comes with the responsibility of developing your own and the client's name in the Midlands region as to date the majority of the planning and delay related work for the region is sourced from international opportunities.
Ideal applicants should have a minimum of 10 years construction industry planning experience of which at least 5 years will be UK based. Coupled to this should be at least 3 years in delay analysis / construction litigation support work plus construction and ideally construction legal qualifications commensurate with this type of role and service provision. What is essential is demonstrable experience of at least acting as principal assistant to Expert or as Expert Witness, plus proven business development ability including personally secured delay analysis work in order to effectively manage and develop thereafter a team in your own mould.
Duties and responsibilities would include:
The provision of high quality and efficient services to clients
Preparation of high quality claims, responses, advice, reports, presentations etc.
Liaising with clients and their legal teams and assisting in the provision of services to clients.
Managing project teams of Senior Consultants, Managing Consultants, Consultants and Analysts as necessary.
Participating in and in raising the industry profile of the client’s business and services.
Participating in and contributing to seminars, external training and in-house training for clients
Participating in and contributing to the publication of learned articles.
Undertaking such courses and training (whether internal or external) as the Employer thinks relevant to the performance of a Directors’ duties.
